so before this i employ a four:3 monitor and utilise 1280x720 resolution with ease. just now im irresolute monitor to a xvi:9 ratio. the max res is 1366x768. my question is, tin can i upload a 1366x768 video on youtube or do i demand to consign it equally 720p or 1080p? thanks! :D

You can upload in whatever resolution you like. College is always better. Even if it'southward larger than your monitors resolution.

You tin't take a 1366x768 recording and upscale it to 1080p, that will just await nasty. just taking a 1920x1080 image and downscaling information technology to 1366x768 is much improve at keeping a well-baked and precipitous image.

It's like when y'all save an image is MS Paint, if you make the image way bigger you'll become a very pixelated image, but if you instead shrink the paradigm you will be able to maintain most of the image quality.

Export in 720p. Information technology will take less space and I recollect you could upload 768p video, merely larger file and I think youtube would downscale it.

Yous might discover that y'all become the best results by recording in max resolution and uploading without any scaling applied. if y'all take to practice scaling, going downward is the next best method.

but if i upload 1366x768 res video on youtube, youtube itself will automated downscale it right?

I'm not really certain, I'm going to say yeah.

I've never actually uploaded in your resolution before, perhaps you should upload a small-scale exam prune. and encounter what happens.

i've done my research, but the thing is when i export the downscale vid, information technology will await blurry, i idea it will await more better and crisp video quality :( i utilize premiere pro and default youtube 720p 29.97 export setting. help?
